During Paired reading I read the book named the Guard Dog by Philip Wooderson. The book is about two boys Ryan and Steve who go on an adventure of solving a crime . Ryan wants to get to the bottom of who stole his father’s woodwork. The book has lots of pictures almost in comic form. It is easy and quick read and the writer makes you feel as if you were solving the crime! . I would recommend this book to any year 7 pupil who wants a quick reading book.
